Ares Thoroughbred

My 36 x 24  painting captures the essence of “Ares" who was a thorougbred through and through.

This noble horse, forever immortalized in my oil on canvas, holds a special place in my heart as my client's absolute favorite among the countless horses they have owned throughout their lifetime.

Aires possessed a majestic presence that commanded admiration and respect. His sleek, muscular form stood as a testament to his strength and grace, while his kind eyes revealed the gentle nature that endeared him to all who had the privilege of crossing his path. It was this remarkable combination of power and tenderness that set Aires apart from the rest.

What truly set Aires apart, however, was his unwavering affection for people, particularly children. His patient demeanor and unwavering trust allowed little ones to climb upon his broad back without the slightest hesitation. He carried them with the utmost care, their laughter and joy echoing through the fields as they embarked on imaginary adventures together. Aires had an innate understanding of the fragile connection between a child's heart and the world around them, and he nurtured that bond with love and devotion.

Sadly, the inevitable passage of time claimed Aires' earthly presence in 2012. At the age of 23, he peacefully passed away in his favorite pasture, surrounded by vibrant flowers that mirrored the beauty of his spirit. In his final moments, Aires found solace in the embrace of nature's embrace, a testament to a life well-lived and a soul that left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.

As I gaze upon the masterpiece before me, I am reminded of the extraordinary bond between animals and humans. In Aires Thoroughbred, the strokes of the artist's brush have brought to life not only a majestic creature but also the story of a magnificent soul who touched lives with his gentle presence.
