This painting was done for a family that had a vacation together and this vacation was very meaningful to them. So I show the whole family — the mother and father at the center, their oldest son, their middle daughter and their youngest kid — all of them looking out at the beautiful scene of Bali. The little huts seen in the distance are probably where they stayed. The sun casts a warm glow over the breathtaking landscape, its rays dancing on the surface of the serene waters. Towering mountains stand tall in the backdrop, forming a majestic view of the grandeur of nature.

In the foreground, a wooden jetty extends into the tranquil waters. The family's elongated shadows gently caress the jetty's surface, immortalizing their presence in this timeless moment.
