Beloved

This painting depicts my partner and good friend Sana from Pakistan in a native dress. She posed for this painting during my visit to Pakistan, which was quite an experience. I do communicate with many people across the world, and those who live in the Americas or Europe do not seem to differ much from us, the Americans, but I couldn’t say the same about the Pakistani people. I was amazed with their culture, traditions and colorful outfits. So, immediately after coming back home, I wanted to create a painting that will serve as a tribute to my friend and all the Pakistani people I met during my stay in this unique country.
